Arulogun whose name means " the one who uniquely exhibits special skills at war or the one who always fight extraordinarily at war was a renowned Warlord in Ibadan in 18th century

He emerged during an era when Ibadan was rising as a military powerhouse in Yorubaland after the fall of the Old Oyo Empire. Like many of Ibadan’s founding warlords, Arulogun was both a warrior and a leader, earning his place through valor, strategy, and an unwavering dedication to the defense of the city.
